Help From CCR&R

For help in thinking about your unique child care needs and to learn about specific child care options in your community, call your local Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) agency. A CCR&R child care specialist will consult with you by phone and make referrals which meet your needs from the CCR&R's comprehensive computerized database of child care information.

CCR&Rs also have information on how to apply for available child care subsidies and locate other child care programs which are publicly supported, such as state-funded programs, Head Starts and school district Pre-Kindergarten programs.

While CCR&R child care specialists can help you know how to recognize quality, CCR&Rs offer referrals only and do no recommend or endorse any particular program. You may be assessed a modest fee for CCR&R consultation and referrals based on your family size and income.
